Will Hair Extensions damage my hair?
We use “The Cinderella System” and this will not harm your hair. The ready-made bonds have been designed to melt at a low temperature to protect fine and course hair alike. The protean moulded bond is made from a plant extract, which unlike glue and wax has no damaging affect on the hair. The extensions are flexible and blend with your own hair to create a natural overall finish. They are easy to apply and just as easy to remove.
How Long Will It take to put hair extensions in?
It will take around five and a half hours start to finish to apply a full set of hair extensions and around three and a half hours for half a head. We always wash the hair with a specialised preparation shampoo, which cleanses and prepares the natural hair ready for the extensions and once the extensions have all been applied we cut into your desired style.
How long will my hair extensions last?
To keep your extensions looking beautiful we recommend removing hair extensions after three months as the bonds grow down. After removal another set of extensions can be re-applied closer to the roots.
How do I look after them?
Be prepared to allow a little extra time each day to look after your extensions. When you get home, leave the hair for three days before washing to allow the bonds to set properly. We advise you visit the salon within the first week to check the extensions and have the first shampoo so we can show you the correct way to wash and dry your new hair, and after six weeks for a maintenance check.
What aftercare products should I use?
We use Cinderella Hair, which has developed a special product range designed especially for use on Cinderella hair extensions. We will provide you with Papaya Shampoo and Orange Dream Conditioner with Keratin, and Super Looper Brush specially designed to glide over the extensions without snagging the bonds or hair. For total peace of mind we recommend that you only use these products but if you choose not to you must only ever use a silicone free product.
